John Roach Funeral Directors continues to support organisations making a positive difference within the local community through its Community Fund programme.
This year’s funding awards included support for Thorn Athletic Community Trust’s Coaches of the Future programme, helping young people gain recognised coaching qualifications, build transferable skills and create future opportunities through sport.
Funding was also awarded to ASN Collective at Milldale Day Opportunities in Linwood, supporting activities and facilities for young adults with disabilities, with a focus on wellbeing, creativity and social connection.
Natasha Craig said: “It is fantastic to see the positive impact these organisations are having within the community. Through the Community Fund, we are proud to support projects that create opportunities, provide support and help bring people together.”
The John Roach Community Fund was launched to support projects that improve wellbeing, strengthen community life and provide meaningful local support across the Johnstone area.
