As a way of giving back to our local area, the John Roach Community Fund aims to provide funding support for community-based projects which improve the quality of life of people living within five miles of John Roach Funeral Directors’s branch in Johnstone.
Local charities will be awarded funding toward the cost of a specific, community-focused project. We aim to fund projects that run for 3 months or longer, but we may consider shorter projects if ongoing community benefits can be demonstrated.
In order to be eligible to receive funding, the project must align with one or more of the fund categories: Health, Education, Employment Opportunities, Poverty/Social Deprivation. Grants are available from £750 to £1,500.
We will run two application cycles over the course of the year:

We particularly welcome applications from small, local not-for-profit organisations embedded in their communities.
